Personal Profile
Yan Daoben, Buddhist name Zhaochan, pen name Sanwang, courtesy name Wangzi, alias Yunyanke, is the head of the Jumping Hall. Born in 1966ChongqingIn the Longjing Mountain area of Yongchuan City, I enjoyed doodling when I was young. In the 1980s, he became acquainted with the famous painter Mr. Zhao Bingkui and studied traditional landscape and fish painting techniques. In 1994, he graduated from the Correspondence University of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy. I am currently a member of the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Art Research Association and the Chongqing Artists Association. Member of Yongchuan Artists Association. For many years, during my studies, I often immersed myself in the brushwork of ancient masters. Drawing on traditional ink painting techniques, I incorporated excellent folk techniques and widely accepted them. The mountain and water have a high ancient charm, especially the freehand brushwork of fish and carp, which is calm and natural in expression, and has a unique style among similar works. Therefore, the work embodies the spirit and style of fish, with elegant and profound connotations, and the technique of appreciating both taste and pleasure is deeply collected by collectors at home and abroad.
