Kong Fanzhou
Kong Fanzhou, born in 1961 in Henan, is a renowned contemporary calligrapher and painter. He is a disciple of Qi Baishi for three generations and the inheritor of Qi style ink painting techniques. I am currently a specially appointed consultant at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, an honorary consultant at the Qi Baishi Art Research Institute, the deputy director of the Qi Baishi Art Memorial Museum, and the deputy director of the Chinese Painting Art Research Institute. In 2005, I was honored as one of the Top 100 Chinese Calligraphers and Painters, a national first-class artist, and a contracted artist for the Beijing Education Television's "Ink Painting Danqing Program" and "Famous Lecture Hall".
