Perhaps nurtured by the spiritual feng shui landscape of Yanling, he had a passion for art since childhood. At first, he was deeply attracted by Xu Beihong's traditional Chinese paintings of horses, constantly learning and appreciating them, gradually nurturing his artistic talent. In terms of calligraphy, he began to write works such as Yan Zhenqing's "Duobao Pagoda", Liu Gongquan's "Xuanmi Pagoda", Ouyang Xun's "Liquan Inscription", Wang Xizhi's "Preface to Lanting", Wen Zhengming's small regular script "Li Sao Jing", "Ten Chronicles of Caotang", "Ma Chenggong", "Heaven's Way Returns Diligence", "Thick Virtue Carries Things", "Shun", "Harmony in Home", "Wonderland of the World", etc.
From the advice of Huang Youzhi, the calligraphy master, we will attack the European style, and draw essence from the teaching of Tian Yingzhang, the first person in the contemporary European style. After decades of hard study and practice, we have gradually formed our own unique calligraphy style. The running script is vigorous, vigorous, lively, elegant, free and easy, and unconventional. We have created a landscape freehand brushwork intention in the form of characters, making the characters picturesque. At the same time, Mr. Ganfuzi has also been studying the Chinese classics of changes, integrating the five elements of the book of changes, the Eight Trigrams Yin and Yang energy, etc. into the creation of calligraphy and painting, forming the style of Yidao calligraphy and painting.
Mr. Geng Fuzi's works have been auctioned on numerous large platforms and collected by thousands of entrepreneurs, collectors, and art enthusiasts. He has donated his works to public welfare projects multiple times and has provided free calligraphy training for elderly people in Hunan Province's First Welfare Home for a long time, making their later years more colorful. He also regularly trains calligraphy for various social institutions and platforms. Given Mr. Geng Fuzi's influence in inheriting traditional Chinese culture, many media outlets such as Hunan TV Public Channel have made special reports on him. Mr. Geng Fuzi's works have great appreciation potential and collection value.
