Song Huxin

Song Huxin, born in Huxian County, Shaanxi Province in 1935, was influenced by his family since childhood and has a great love for calligraphy. Shuxue Erwang, Zhang Xu, Huai Su; I once studied under Qi Baishi and became his personal disciple. After attacking Zhang Zhi, the two kings, Mi Fu, Huai Su, and Sun Guoting, he learned from the strengths of others. In recent years, I have also gained a lot from exploring the works of Wang Duo and Yu Youren, and I am proficient in all genres. Their works have both traditional foundations and contemporary characteristics, with a majestic and unrestrained atmosphere; Vigorous and powerful, free and elegant, with thick lines and rigorous structure; Combining both square and square elements, with a balance of rigidity and flexibility, it opens and closes with unique characteristics, finally forming its own unique style of "majestic and dangerous, graceful and elegant", which stands out in today's book world. Hua attacked Wu Changshuo, Qi Baishi, Zhang Daqian, Xu Wei, Ba Dashanren, and Wang Yuanzhang. His landscape paintings are both ancient and modern, forming their own unique style. His Chinese painting works have participated in numerous national calligraphy and painting exhibitions and have received great acclaim. His calligraphy works were exhibited at the 8th National Exhibition of Couplets (hosted by the Chinese Calligraphers Association) and won the highest award at the 7th National Calligraphy Exhibition, winning the "Five Consecutive Championships". Regarded by the collectors as the most valuable contemporary calligrapher and painter. The calligraphy and painting works were included in the "Famous Chinese Calligraphers and Painters of the 20th Century" and awarded the title of "Century Meritorious Artist", as well as the "Selected Works of Chinese Artists" and the Excellence Award. I am already in my eighties, still fond of calligraphy and painting. I continue to work hard and strive for excellence, showcasing the style of everyone.
In August 2013, he was awarded the title of Chinese National Gift Special Artist, with a calligraphy polishing fee of up to 80000 RMB per square foot and an art polishing fee of up to 100000 RMB per square foot, and was awarded a polishing certificate. Has won numerous gold and silver awards in national, provincial, and municipal calligraphy competitions. The works have been exported to countries and regions such as the United States, Canada, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, and have received high praise. He has held personal book fairs in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and other places, and his calligraphy and painting works have been presented to domestic and foreign guests on behalf of overseas Chinese media multiple times, and have been collected by many cultural institutions such as museums and art galleries in China.
