Mr. Lv Chuanbin (stage name Bai Yu, Da Mi, Da Mi) was influenced by his elder brother (the first national entrance examination art student) to systematically study calligraphy and painting during his youth. Later, with the recommendation of his elder brother, he became a disciple of the famous calligrapher, painter, and woodcutter Wei Yuhuan; Due to the special circumstances of Mr. Wei, he was fortunate enough to meet two modern masters - Mr. Wei Tianchi and Mr. Wu Guanzhong, and received their enthusiastic encouragement and guidance. From then on, his pursuit of the refreshing beauty of art became even stronger, and he made a lifelong vow to explore the mysteries of art. Later, he studied under teachers Shen Xilan, Chen Haojin, Ma Tingjin, and the director of the Training Center of the China Writers Association, Mr. Liu Wenhua.
Graduated from Oriental Art and Television Correspondence College in 1987（ZhejiangAcademy of Fine Arts Branch), In 1988, he studied the ancient Dangshan traditional New Year paintings under the guidance of Huang Xingqiao, a inheritor of intangible cultural heritage. In 1991, he studied under the reclusive master Mr. Ji Jungan at the Chen style Taiji Xiaojia (Tengnuo Gongfu Jia) and intended to integrate Taiji principles into his calligraphy and painting studies. Founded Baiyu Art Studio in 1993 (began independent artistic creation). From 1997 to 2000, he won the first prize in the "Civilized Travel" art competition organized by the Ministry of Railways three times. In 2003, he studied ceramic painting and sculpture techniques under the master of Jingdezhen Arts and Crafts, Mr. Liu Yuanchang, and was awarded the porcelain sculpture "L ü Dongbin" by his mentor. In 2005, he won the first prize of the teacher group's brush and hard brush in the Mount Huangshan Painting Contest, held by Anhui Education Society and Anhui Calligraphy Professional Committee.In the same year, he won the Elite Award of the National Calligraphy and Painting Competition "Wei'an, Mao Zedong" by the Ministry of Culture. In 2015, Xinjiang Television Station and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps Television Station broadcasted their main creative program "Han Soul: Book of Rites" on satellite. During the 5th International Low Carbon Forum in Shenzhen, China in 2017, more than 60 ministerial level representatives from various countries showcased traditional Chinese culture (calligraphy and Tai Chi). In 2018, the Chinese traditional Chinese medicine health brand "De Ai Tang" guided and inscribed by him was launched on the NASDAQ Square screen in the United States, showcasing and promoting the treasures of Chinese traditional culture to the world. In 2019, he participated in the "China (Shenzhen) International Art Festival" and was awarded the title of "Outstanding Intangible Cultural Heritage Master" as a prominent figure in the intangible cultural heritage of Greater China, including one, two, and four regions. He also signed a contract with the Shenzhen Cultural Property Exchange.In the same year, it won a gold medal at the 9th National Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition in Kunming (Guandu).
