In 1984, he studied traditional Chinese painting under the guidance of Mr. Xu Jiujun; In 2014, I was appointed as a mentor by Mr. Dai Zhenyu from the China Ink Painting Research Institute, specializing in landscape painting. Currently, I am the Vice President of the China New Ink Painting Research Institute. His landscape paintings have been published in numerous art journals. Mr. Long Rui praised his works as having a unique and imposing composition, exquisite brushstrokes with full charm, regional and contemporary characteristics, and a balance of inheritance and innovation
The work 'Eternal Qingzi' was awarded the 'Hanmo China Gold Award' by the Chinese Academy of Painting and Calligraphy, and was honored with the title of 'Hanmo China Art Master'. It was introduced in 'Art Grand View',Hebei ProvinceArt Publishing House and Shandong Pictorial Publishing House have successively published Liu Zhiling's art collections.
Recently created landscape paintings and flower and bird paintings have been collected by calligraphy and painting enthusiasts both domestically and internationally.
