Liu Chunshan (Shan), courtesy name Pinyi, Zili, male, born in January 1948. Graduated from college, member of the Communist Party of China, retired cadre. He is currently a national first-class calligrapher.JilinMember of the Calligraphers Association of Liaoyuan City and Changchun City, member of the China Elderly Calligraphy and Painting Research Association, member of the Jilin Calligraphers Association, member of the Provincial Elderly Calligraphy and Painting Research Association, Deputy Secretary General of the Liaoyuan Elderly Cadre (Elderly) Calligraphy and Painting Research Association, and Vice President of the Jilin Five Storage Calligraphy and Painting Academy.
Liu Chunshan is versatile and has a rich cultural heritage. Hobbies in calligraphy, painting, poetry, antique calligraphy and painting appreciation and collection. His literary works have won gold medals in national essay competitions. He has a great passion for calligraphy and painting art, and has studied under calligraphers from counties, cities, provinces, and the national level. In his spare time, he learns calligraphy art from them. He successively studied the calligraphy art of Yan Zhenqing, Wang Xizhi, Zhao Mengfu, Mi Fu, Su Dongpo, and Mao Zedong. During the process of learning and creating, I continued to cultivate my own calligraphy style.
Mr. Liu has a profound and solid foundation in calligraphy. His regular script, running script, cursive script, and clerical script are all excellent, especially in cursive script. His cursive script is a combination of firmness and softness, with a smooth and fluent expression, and a grand and free spirited style. Since the 1990s, his calligraphy works have often won first, second, and third prizes in counties, cities, and provinces, and have been exhibited multiple times in national special calligraphy exhibitions. Won the gold medal in the 7th and 8th National Dream Cup Poetry, Calligraphy and Painting Competition in 2019 and 2020. And was awarded the honorary title of "Excellent Artist of Chinese Dream in Painting and Calligraphy".
