Ma Zhirong participated in the district wide calligraphy and painting competition in 2018, won the second prize, seal carving award, and was a member of the Guyuan Calligraphy Association. Ma Zhirong, male, Hui ethnicity, born in May 1975, farmer, junior high school education, member of the Communist Party of China, pen name Yunfeng,NingxiaPeople from Gucheng Town, Pengyang County. I have had a passion for calligraphy, painting, seal carving, music, and more since childhood. During my student years, I won numerous awards for calligraphy, painting, and seal carving. However, due to my poor family background, I dropped out of school and started farming before completing junior high school. In order to make a living, I ran around and occasionally saw an old man selling his paintings and calligraphy on the street. I was inspired: why not pick up a pen and return to your old profession, maybe with some harvest? So, using the spirit roots from more than 20 years ago and a small trial with a powerful sword, the charm of the strokes still lingers. Later, with the constant encouragement of my friends, I made some progress and gained a lot of confidence. I kept reading books every day and felt quite gratified. In the past two years, I have participated in numerous calligraphy and painting exchange activities and have benefited greatly. In 2017, won an award in the National Calligraphy and Painting Network Competition and joined the County Calligraphy Association. In 2018, participated in the district wide calligraphy and painting competition, won the second prize, seal carving award, and became a member of the Guyuan Calligraphy Association. Member of the Art Association. I won the third prize in the 2019 Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Masters Competition. I hold onto a belief: there is no flame mountain that cannot be crossed.
