Liu Yuming (owner of Shuofeng Hall)Hui ethnic group, graduated in 1981NingxiaCollege of Fine Arts, UniversityMember of the Chinese Contemporary Calligraphers and Painters Research AssociationMember of Ningxia Branch of China Artists AssociationVice Chairman of Shizuishan Artists AssociationVice President of Shizuishan Calligraphy and Painting Academy.I studied under the late tiger painter Wang Jingping and have been engaged in research and creation of calligraphy and painting for a long time. I am skilled in freehand painting of landscapes and figures. In recent years, we have devoted ourselves to exploring the painting styles and techniques of literati in the Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties, as well as the wild and expansive artistic conception of the Northern School landscape. We strive to draw inspiration from the painting language of masters such as Fan Kuan, Dong Yuan and Shi Tao, Ba Da, and Huang Binhong, and delve into the "six methods" of ancient Chinese painting. We pay attention to the integration of brush and ink with the soul, release the strokes, and implement the brushwork and ink techniques in the depiction of form and spirit, as well as the expression of emotions and learning. The works are mostly based on the majestic and handsome scenery of Helan Mountain, the hometown customs of Jiangnan on the Great Wall, the thousands of miles long Silk Road ancient road, and the singing of horses in the desert wilderness. The painting path is wide, and the expression techniques are diverse and rich, drawing on the strengths of various schools and constantly exploring new frontiers in Western landscape painting. Emphasizing the diligent study of calligraphy in Linchi to nourish one's brush and ink, it demonstrates a general atmosphere of using calligraphy as the bone, ink as the rhyme, and poetry as the soul. Some of the works have been collected by museums and individuals in Korea, Japan, Singapore, Canada, and other countries. The works and biographies have been included in books such as "Contemporary Chinese Calligraphers and Painters of the 20th Century". Calligraphy embodies the style of a professional calligrapher, both in terms of the recognition of martial arts skills and the expression of calligraphy style. In April 2010, he published a personal collection titled 'Liu Yuming's Chinese Painting Works'.
