Personal Profile
      Zhang Hongguo, pen name Wenyuan, was born in Zibo, Shandong. He inherited the family school from a young age and practiced calligraphy under the guidance of his grandfather Erti. I have been studying the famous calligraphy works of the four great calligraphers of ancient times, namely Ou, Yan, Liu, and Zhao, since I was young. Later, he became a disciple of Qi Baishi, a contemporary master of calligraphy and painting, and a national first-class artist named Liu Yongtai. Under the guidance of many talented individuals, he was bestowed the stage name "Wenyuan" by his mentor, which carries profound meaning and adds to the cultural world of the Women's Book Garden. He became a disciple of Qi Baishi again. The advanced study class of the National Academy of Chinese Painting has won numerous awards for calligraphy and painting works in domestic and foreign provincial exhibitions and competitions.   Currently serving as the Vice President of the Wang Xizhi Calligraphy and Painting Art Research Institute in China.
