Dai Xiangdong
Dai Xiangdong, pen name Wangdong. Born in 1961, graduated from the Chinese Painting Department of Shandong Academy of Arts, and later pursued further studies at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He is currently a national first-class artist, a Chinese national ritual artist, a member of the China US Association, a member of the Zhejiang Artists Association, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Chinese Painting, a director of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association, a mentor of the advanced research class of the China Central Academy of Fine Arts, and the president of the Wenzhou branch of the China Qibaishi Art Research Institute.
Teacher Dai Xiangdong has had a passion for painting since childhood, and Qi Baishi has given birth to new disciples and received personal guidance from many famous painters. His paintings can be described as unique in today's art world. His works are free from conventions and full of creativity.
