Guo Xinmin, also known as Fangshan Yishi (Tian Cheng), was born in 1959ZhejiangDongyang, a member of the Communist Party of China.
Influenced by the atmosphere of calligraphy and painting from a young age, he specifically went to the 1980sShanghaiShaoxing correspondence calligraphy and advertising design, and later received guidance and influence from masters such as Sun Dayu, a calligrapher from the Chinese Calligraphers Association, Han Zhiping, the director of the Hangzhou Xizi Painting Academy, and Hu Lixin, the director of the China National Calligraphy and Painting Academy. Calligraphy art and hard pen calligraphy have become increasingly exquisite. Guo Xinmin's calligraphy has been a constant pursuit and innovation for decades. His brushwork is free and easy, his strokes are full of ups and downs, his strokes are vivid, and his handwriting is mixed and separated. He has different styles in real, cursive, clerical, and seal script, which have won people's love and praise. His calligraphy theory has participated in provincial and municipal theoretical seminars many times, and his works have been collected by calligraphy and painting enthusiasts from all walks of life. His calligraphy works have won awards in various exhibitions and competitions at all levels across the country.
Won first prize in the first "Huayun Cup" National Calligraphy and Painting Competition, silver prize in the 18th "Lushan Cup" National Competition, participated in the 3rd "Yidao Yaji" Cup Hard Pen Calligraphy Award, and won the second prize in the "Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of New China Elderly Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition" Calligraphy.
