Zhangjiang Lotus

Zhang Jianglian, female, artist, born in Liaoning, works and resides in Beijing.

Member of the China Artists Association, member of the Chinese Gongbi Painters Association, visiting scholar at the New York Academy of Art in the United States, honorary doctorate from the Florence Academy of Fine Arts in Italy, supervisor of the advanced training class for Chinese painting art creation at Tsinghua University, visiting professor at Northeastern University, visiting professor at Hebei Academy of Fine Arts, national first-class artist, director of the Chinese Painting Art Research Association of the Ministry of Culture, director of the Asian Art Alliance, director of the China International Art Exchange Promotion Association, contracted painter of the CCTV Calligraphy and Painting Channel, specially appointed painter of Rongbaozhai Painting Academy, specially appointed painter of Beijing Shiqi Painting Academy, artist of Hudson Art Center in New York, and director of the Heart Mirror Art Museum.

Founder of Heart Mirror Chinese Painting. The work integrates Chinese and Western elements, inherits and innovates, highlights individuality, and focuses on the contemporary era.

I have studied Chinese painting at the National Academy of Chinese Painting, Beijing Academy of Painting, and Peking University. Inherited from Shi Qi, Yuan Wu, and Hu Mingzhe.

Graduated successively from the Fine Arts Department of the Art Vocational School, the Sculpture Department of the Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts, and the Graduate Class of the Oil Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts.

From 2006 to 2010, stayed at the "Suojiacun International Art Camp" at the Beijing China Contemporary Art Camp. In the summer of 2010, Zhangjianglian Art Studio was established in Songzhuang, China. Since then, it has held multiple international joint exhibitions with Chinese and world artists both domestically and internationally, including in the United States, Germany, Rome, the United Kingdom, Italy, France, South Korea, Singapore, and Hong Kong. The works have been selected for hundreds of award-winning national and international exhibitions, exhibited or collected at the National Art Museum of China, provincial art museums, the National Museum of China, the 798 Contemporary Art Center, and internationally renowned collector Ulrich. Publications include "Beijing Youth Weekly", "Art Overview", "Art Focus", "Contemporary Chinese Art", and "New Era Large scale Literature Collection Stamp Album".
